The Capital One® Card Lab provides you with a series of interactive choices where you select all the options you want on your credit card, including: introductory interest rate, regular APR, basic and additional rewards, APR on balance transfers, annual fee, and card image. Once you have made your choice(s), you will be asked to complete an online application. If approved, your customized card will be mailed to you within a few business days.
Cards are available for consumers with credit scores between "fair" and "excellent", including those with a limited credit history - like college students looking for their first card. Business owners have the capability to build a custom corporate card with a credit line up to $20,000.
The Capital One® Card Lab offers a whole new level of transparency for consumers & small businesses to be able to see in real-time the tradeoffs that are necessary to create the credit card of their needs. As choices are made, the tool/widget narrows other options in the remaining categories, eliminating those that do not complement your current features, e.g: one can accumulate rewards/points faster by paying an annual fee, or receive a higher percentage of cash back by increasing the interest rate you are willing to pay.
